Agnes H. Kennedy, 77, of Freeport, IL, passed away on October 30, 2022 at FHN. She was born on June 27, 1945 in Church Point, LA, to Vorise J. Handy and Louisa (Citizen) Handy. On June 15, 1968, she married Elgee Kennedy in Church Point, LA.

Survivors include her spouse Elgee Kennedy; children: Robert (Gwendolyn) Kennedy, Rachelle (Gill) Gilliam, Elgee J. Kennedy, Louisa (Jimmy) Kennedy-Francis, and Nelson Kennedy; grandchildren: Agnes L. Kennedy, Prenella Kennedy, Michaela Gilliam, Mikhel Gilliam, Mekhei Gilliam, and Alleyah Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her son Nathan Kennedy, parents Vorise and Louisa Handy, and eight siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
