William Antonio Strong, 34 yrs. old, of Freeport passed away on Thursday afternoon Nov. 13, 2014. He was born the son of Rufus Conway & Linda Strong on Feb. 9, 1980 in Chicago. He attended Scanlan Elementary & Tilden High School in Chicago; he also attended Highland Community College in Freeport. He was employed as a barber.

He is survived by his father: Rufus Conway, five step brothers, two step sisters, three uncles: Jimmy, William, & Antonio, two aunts: Mildred & Johnnetta Strong, and a host of cousins that he grew up with, as well as nieces, nephews, family & friends.

William is preceded in death by his mother: Linda, brother: Kelvin, grandparents: Matthew & Ethel, two uncles: Larry & Jennings, two aunts: Janice & Victoria, and a cousin: Shannatta (Koosa) Strong.

Services will be on Sat. Nov. 22, 2014 at 2 pm at the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church 602 S. Chicago Ave., Freeport, IL with Rev. Rickey Stidman officiating. Friends may call at the church after 1 pm until the time of service. Burial will be at the Freeport City Cemetery.
